Keto Fried Chicken

Ingredients you’ll need (2 servings):

  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into small bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons butter or coconut oil

To make the keto fried chicken, you will first need to mix the almond flour, Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a shallow dish or bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and heavy cream together.

Dip the chicken pieces in the egg mixture and then coat them in the almond flour mixture, making sure that they are evenly coated on all sides.

Heat the butter or coconut oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the butter is melted and hot, add the coated chicken pieces to the skillet. Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until it is golden brown and cooked through.

Serve the keto fried chicken immediately, garnished with fresh herbs or a squeeze of lemon juice, if desired. Enjoy!
